  • Director of Human Resources - Job Description
    Minimum of a Master's degree and three years of school and/or division administration experience required. Experience with school division human resources highly preferred. PreK-12 public education teaching experience preferred.  12 month position (260 days); Step 0 ($85,000)- Step 30 ($123,388); placement on the director salary scale is commensurate with experience as a school principal, school division director or similar leadership position; Doctorate supplement is $3,000.  Internal applicants should submit both a letter of interest and current resume to Dr. Lori Harper, Division Superintendent.  Position will close Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 5:00 PM.
  • ACES Kindergarten Teacher:(2020-2021 school year) - Job Description
    Current, valid Virginia teaching license with appropriate endorsement in Elementary Education PreK-6. 10 month position/ 200 days. Teacher salary scale for the 2020-2021 school year is (Step 0) $40,500 - (Step 30) $60,999; final salary is based on experience and placement on the teacher salary scale; Master's degree compensation is $2,271.

  • ACPS Paraprofessional - 5 hour: (2020-2021 school year) - Job description 
    Must be highly qualified (have an Associates' degree, have completed a minimum of 60 college credits, or have passed the Praxis Paraprofessional assessment); 10 month position/184 days. Salary scale for the 2020-2021 school year is (Step 0) $10,839- (Step 30) $19,638; final salary is based on experience and placement on the paraprofessional salary scale. 
  • ACMS Security Officer- 8 hour: (anticipated opening) - Job Description
    - 10 month position/ 200 days. Minimum of a High School Degree or equivalent required; Post-secondary education and/or training preferred; Salary scale for the 2020-2021 school year is (Step 0) $22,750- (Step 30) $33,025; final salary is based on experience and placement on the School Security Officer salary scale.
  • Daily Classroom Teacher and Transportation Substitutes
    Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; part-time, daily rate
