Blended Learning Lesson Plans

The following lesson plans are samples of blended learning and instruction for a week. The sample daily schedule can be used as a guide for how a student’s day can be structured.

Monday 

Math - Complete Spiral Review Daily Slides (Daily Spiral Math Review), 

Watch learning video of Mrs. Harris introducing Geometry (Geometry Video),

Complete Google Doc of image search of 3D Shapes (Geometry Assignments)

Reading - Video Lesson of Ms. Thomas (Video for Author's Purpose)

Writing - Complete Brainstorm of writing "If I were an animal for a day..." (Animals for a Day writing - they will work off the same file each day)

Spelling - Introduce new words and write them in their notebooks. Use different colors to show vowel patterns.

 

Tuesday

Math - Complete Spiral Review Daily Slides (Same file as Monday - Daily Spiral Math Review),  

Practice on www.ixl.com, draw a picture of a house and label shapes,

Take a picture and attach it to Google Doc (Same file as Monday - Geometry Assignments)

Reading - Practice on www.ixl.com and Complete "Author's Purpose Passages" in Google Classroom (Author's Purpose Passages)

Writing - Complete Ideas 1 and 2 on Google Slides (Same file as Monday -Animals for a Day writing)

Spelling - Complete Google Slides Differentiated Spelling activity - Slides 2,5,8, or 11 depending on which group the student is in. (Words their way Sorts Differentiated)

 

Wednesday

Math - Complete Spiral Review Daily Slides (Same file as Monday - Daily Spiral Math Review),

Complete Geometry Worksheet on Google Slides (Geometry Worksheet),

Practice on www.ixl.com

Reading - Complete "Author's Purpose Practice" in Google Slides (Author's Purpose Practice)

Writing - Complete Idea 3 and Begin writing Conclusion (Same file as Monday -Animals for a Day writing)

Spelling -  Complete Google Slides Differentiated Spelling activity - Slides 3,6,9, or 12 depending on which group the student is in. (Same file as Tuesday - Words their way Sorts Differentiated )

 

Thursday

Math - Complete Spiral Review Daily Slides (Same file as Monday - Daily Spiral Math Review),

Complete Geometry 3D Task Cards in Google Slides (Geometry 3D Task cards)

Reading Practice on www.ixl.com

Writing - Finish Conclusion and begin editing (same file as Monday -Animals for a Day writing)

Spelling - Complete a spelling menu activity in your notebook.

 

Friday

Math - Complete Spiral Review Daily Slides (Same file as Monday - Daily Spiral Math Review),

Complete Geometry Assessment and submit to teacher (Geometry Form Assessment)

Reading - Review Author's Purpose by completing Task Cards. (Author's Purpose Task Cards)

Writing - Finish editing and look over for final writing (Same file as Monday - Animals for a Day writing)

Spelling - Complete a spelling menu activity in your notebook and prepare for a spelling test.
