Hello. My name is Grace Weyant and I am honored to be the new assistant principal at the elementary school. I look forward to working closely with you and your child.

I graduated from Longwood University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. Upon graduating, I decided to return to my hometown to teach the students of Amelia County. For sixteen years, I served Amelia County Public Schools as an elementary school teacher. In May 2022, I graduated from Longwood University with my master’s degree in Educational Leadership. I am excited to begin my journey as the assistant principal of Amelia County Elementary School.  

I am a lifelong resident of Amelia County, and I also attended Amelia County Public Schools. I am an active member of the community, and I believe in its bright future. I am happily married and have 4 kids. We enjoy volunteering and traveling. Each summer, we travel to a different state. 

I am dedicated to the mission and vision of ACPS, and I believe in building relationships and working closely together to ensure your child’s academic success. I want to inspire every child to be their best possible self. In order to produce caring, responsible, and creative citizens of the future, I will strive to provide an enthusiastic, collaborative, and nurturing environment every day.
