Hello, ACES Families!  My name is Andy Henderson, and I am excited to serve as your assistant principal.  

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumental Music Education from Ball State University and earned my Master’s of Arts in Teaching from Rockford University.  I also earned his Post-Master’s Certificate in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University.  I have 19 years of experience at the elementary level, teaching in both Valley View School District in Illinois and Chesterfield County.  I have served as the PBIS coach and team leader in previous positions.

I was born and raised on a farm in southeastern Indiana and moved to Virginia in 2008.  I have been married for 19 years to my wife, Victoria, and we have two boys, Keith (14) and Bryce (11).  We enjoy watching them participate in scouting as well as cross country and football.

My goal as your assistant principal is to provide clear and useful communication and create a family atmosphere that is mutually beneficial to students, parents, and staff.  I look forward to working with you to be #StrongerTogether during this upcoming year!
