  • ACES School Counselor (grant funded) - *anticipated opening for the 2024-2025 school year* -Job Description Minimum of a Master's degree in School Counseling; required professional licensure with appropriate endorsement or show progress in obtaining a provisional license in School Counseling.  Preferred three years of successful full-time teaching experience with at least two years of successful, full-time experience in counseling.  Must be able to conduct group sessions as needed during after school or evening hours which may require a flexible work schedule based on the needs of the school division. Exempt/10 month position (200 days); grant-funded position with yearly renewal based on availability of grant funding. Current salary scale for the 2023-2024 school year is: Step 0 ($49,610)- Step 30 ($72,015); placement on the salary scale is commensurate with experience; Master's supplement is $2,275; Doctorate supplement is $3,250. 

  • ACES Math Resource Teacher Job Description - Math teacher will provide instruction in a math resource lab as part of the PreK - 5th grade school-wide resource rotation. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with appropriate elementary math endorsement is required; math specialist endorsement preferred. 10 month position (200 days); Step 0 ($49,610)- Step 30 ($72,015); placement on the teacher salary scale is commensurate with experience; Master's supplement is $2,275; Doctorate supplement is $3,250.

  • ACES RESET Teacher Job Description Teacher will provide instruction to students in grades K-5 who have been assigned to the RESET program, a structured, alternative education program.  Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with a teaching license is required; elementary experience preferred. 10 month position (200 days); Teacher Salary Scale for the 2024-2025 school year: Step 0 ($49,610)- Step 30 ($72,015); placement on the teacher salary scale is commensurate with experience; Master's supplement is $2,275; Doctorate supplement is $3,250.

  • Daily Classroom Substitute Teachers
    Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; part-time, daily rate; HS diploma/GED: ($85/day); Associates' degree ($95/day); Bachelor's degree ($105/day); Long-term Substitute ($125/day beginning on the 11th consecutive day- teacher positions only).

  • Car Drivers - Part-time, $15/hour; must be 21 years of age with a minimum of 5 years of driving experience; must have a valid VA driver's license with an excellent driving record; will participate in random, quarterly drug/alcohol screening. 

  • Car Monitors- Part-time, $15/hour; must be able to assist/support students while riding in an ACPS vehicle to and from school placement.

  • ANTC Principal- Job Description -Responsible for the administration and supervision of the Amelia Nottoway high school technical center and its CTE programs; 240 days/12 month.

  • ANTC Medical Assistant Teacher- Job Description -Teaches course content for Medical Assistant to high school students enrolled at the Amelia-Nottoway Technical Center. Work is performed at the professional level within specific instructional program guidelines; 200 days/10 month.
