🇺🇸George Washington, more commonly known to us as Mr. Dearmon, stopped by ACMS to celebrate Constitution Day. Washington was the president on September 17, 1787 during the signing of the United States Constitution 📜. Mr. Dearmon’s 6th grade students sang along to the famous School House Rock Preamble song, reflected on what they learned by writing about it in their journals, and engaged in a constitution scavenger hunt. In addition, Mr. Roberts (7th grade history) and Ms. Butcher (8th grade civics) covered this important day in history with various creative activities from flocabulary to learning the preamble through pictures and creating their own products. 🇺🇸
