Good evening Team Amelia. This is Amelia County Public Schools calling with an inclement weather announcement for Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Due to current flooding and expected wind conditions tomorrow, ACPS will be closed for all students and staff. Please be safe and have a nice evening!
Team Amelia: Good evening! Due to anticipated heavy rains and high winds starting early afternoon, ACPS will have an early dismissal tomorrow (Tuesday, 1/9/24). ACHS will dismiss at 12:30 P.M. ACMS will dismiss at 12:40 P.M. ACES will dismiss at 12:50 P.M. Parents of students who ride the bus should be prepared to meet their child's bus at the appropriate time tomorrow, due to the early dismissal. All 12 month employees may leave once all buses have cleared tomorrow afternoon. Please be safe and have a nice evening!
